About Me

- John Wooden
We have a great many leaders in the company and in our team. Far to many to properly cover within these pages. So we will stick to the the people at the very top of the company, the Owners and Founders of Isagenix.
While their bio will follow, this is as the saying goes 'the proof is in the pudding'. Look at what has been accomplished. Isagenix has over a billion dollars in sales and over 50 millionaires. Look through the testimonials and read through DREAMS magazine and find out what the products have provided. If I knew nothing else about the owners, this would be more than enough for me.
Founders John Anderson, Jim and Kathy Coover, were all retired when they were inspired to establish Isagenix––a company that could transform the health, wealth and happiness of people in search of a better quality of life. Isagenix has experienced explosive growth since it’s founding, because our leaders bring a unique combination of nutritional and direct-marketing experience and success to the company.
John Anderson Master Formulator of Nutritional Supplements. - 30+ years of experience in the nutritional supplement industry.

Joel Burris - This is not my first go around with a company in Network Marketing. I have been in very large companies and at the very beginning of start-ups. I have had positions at the very top of the company as well as positions many levels from the top.
The one thing that is always consistent - you will only get something out of your business if you put effort to building your business.
Once you knock that little hurdle down I have found there are four must haves for a company to be the least bit attractive or worth any of my interest. Much less spending your time and effort building up.
These things can only be told after time.
After being with a couple of smaller companies and achieving the top 2% or 3% of the earners - I saw the end coming. I was at an impasse. Could I continue to ask people to join a team with a company I no longer believed in? Could I just tell these people, people helping me earn a respectable income and oblivious to the pending demise that they needed to jump ship and follow me again to another company? And what company would that be.
After a lot of research and talking to many leaders and product lovers, Isagenix was clearly the choice for me to move forward with.
I am now an active member of the 'Isagenix Technical Advisory Committee'.
Coming out of the Air Force and attending college in SoCal I started with a recruiting firm. Working the tech industry, I found positions for people from support through executives all over the country.
Over the next several years I worked with company owners to open and build new offices, establish a client base and train the staff. After several successful years in the recruiting business, I branched out in the web development and design, internet marketing and business development fields. With several network marketing companies as clients, the advantages of the business model became clear.
Slowly, I started building my own home based network marketing business. After working with several companies in the network marketing industry and achieving the top 2% of company earners a couple of times, the proverbial writing on the wall started to show itself with my last company. I had joined the company as a start up and helped them reach record sales in their first year. They were not going to make it. I was not able to drop out of the company and take my team with me do to my relationship with the owners - so I chose to stop building the business and dropped out of the business.
After moving to Seattle, WA I started teaching BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). This was pretty good timing really. After taking time off from workouts and having my first baby, I had put more than a couple of pounds on. Getting back to working out certainly helped. I dropped back down to around 190 - 195 lbs. This was a comfortable weight for me and I felt fine. I began to get back to good eating habits and started to re-educate myself in nutrition. So many theories have changed since college;)
It didn't take long before I was itching to get back to building a business. I wanted to spend more time with my daughter and the hours need to make my traditional business successful was not allowing that to happen. I contacted the owners and team leaders of networking companies that I had worked with in the past, but I wasn't coming up with much that got me excited. Another something juice or product I had no interest in.
So the real searching began. I focused on companies with products that got me excited. Products that were based on whole foods, naturally grown and without pesticides, herbicides and antibiotics. Something that I would want my family to take. I also wanted a product, or better yet a group of products, that actually addressed real issues. Another juice from an exotic berry just doesn't do anything for me.
There were a couple of options initially, but after trying things out, talking to company and its leaders and learning more about the philosophy behind product and business that supported everything, there was clear winner - Isagenix.
I started with the 30 Day cleanse when I joined Isagenix. Working with a program that my new upline provided, I dropped 13 lbs in as many days. That put me under 180lbs and around 12% body fat. I enjoyed the mental and physical results of doing a nutritional cleanse so much, I now do them every couple of months and single day cleanses almost every month. My body found a great balance in weight and energy. I have been using the products everyday since.
From there it is easy to see there really isn't anywhere else to invest my time and relationships.
As an update, after being on the Isagenix products for several years now I am now down to my ideal body weight. I am not a big believer in the BMI index, but I must admit that I do feel better at this weight and according t the chart - I am exactly where I should be (for a person much younger than I am). I come in at 176 and as of January 2011 under 8% body fat. I am very pleased with my bodies ability to recover from hard workouts and the few times I even started to catch a bug, I was about over it. Isagenix couldn't be the only reason this is true, but I have now doubt it is a significant factor. If you are believer that genetics are the key factor for someone to maintain a healthy body weight and not get sick / recover fast, well my parents were no where close to my level of health.
