About 26 years ago, I started a little nail business that has grown to be the largest Destination Spa in Granbury, Texas. I was so content with my business, I definitely was not looking for anything like Isagenix to come in to my life, however a gentleman named Robert changed all that for me.
Robert had come into my Salon a few times so he could give me information about Isagenix but my receptionist always politely informed him that I was busy so he changed tactics and made an appointment with me to offer his Massage Therapy Services. I already had 3 full time Therapists on staff so we agreed to have him on call as needed. As fate would have it I needed him to fill in a few days later and my clients loved his massage.
After working for me a while he told me about Isagenix and gave me a Wellness Report. I was totally unimpressed and informed him that I had thrown away lots of similar information for many other companies. Undaunted, he asked me to listen to a CD with a recorded conversation with Dr. John Gray, author of Men are From Mars. I had grown to respect Robert as a wonderful Massage Therapist so I agreed to listen. The information was so powerful I decided to test it out for myself.
After a very short time I noticed the inches melting off my waist, and my receptionist remarked that I seemed so much calmer and I looked better. Within 2 weeks everybody was noticing and began asking me what I was doing. I gave them the same CD Robert gave me and the cycle started repeating itself.
Mary's daughter had even more dramatic results. Jeanne was born 5 weeks premature. Clinically dead at birth, the doctors managed to resuscitate her and I was told she would not live and would be severely mentally impaired if she did. At her first feeding she choked, quit breathing and her heart stopped. Again she was revived and later attempts of feeding resulted in the same thing. Needless to say, the doctors were stumped.
A feeding tube was used to keep her alive for the next 9 days while the
medical staff developed a game plan around a theory that a hole in her esophagus was allowing food to pass into
her lungs rather than her stomach. Weighing a mere 3 pounds she underwent her first major surgery and became
the first infant to survive this procedure where the incision went from the middle
of her chest to the middle of her back. This was only the beginning of a
surgical regiment that she had to face in order to correct many problems her
frail body presented. To date, Jeanne has fought through and survived 11
major surgeries, arresting on more than one occasion, including the c-section
to deliver her own daughter. The baby was a beautiful miracle but after
bringing little mom back to life she was in intensive care for 4 days.
When Jeanne wanted to try the Isagenix nutrition program I was very worried but Robert assured me this nutrition is essential for EVERYONE and the weight loss is only a side benefit for those who need it. Robert himself had been very thin and sick from over competing as an athlete on the United States Ski and Archery Team. The result for Jeanne has been 2 years of much better health and a new lease on life.
I was very passionate about my results but was never willing to consider the business idea with anyone. It took me a year and a half to realize it is a wonderful gift to share. It really is the same as my customers coming to me for beautiful nail enhancements for the past 25 years. They always went out excited and sent in their friends and I rewarded them by giving them discounts on their next service. Some of my clients wound up with a free service or at a huge discount because they shared their nail experience with their so many people.

Mary Takes Leap of Faith and Discovers Greater Health and Wealth
If anyone had told 60-year-old Mary a few years ago that she would ever enjoy exercise or that she would feel better today than she did when she was 30, she would have said they were nuts.
Now this proud Texas native happily eats those words, saying there is only one word that can describe how she feels today — “passionate.” Armed with her distinctly positive outlook on life, Mary is on a mission to tell all who will listen about her story of health and wellness and the power of Isagenix® to truly transform lives and produce financial freedom.
It wasn’t always sunshine and roses, though. Mary sheepishly admits to being cranky and skeptical when she was first approached about Isagenix as a business. Her response was a defiant “not on your life.”
Eventually the stars aligned and Mary set aside her skepticism and took a leap of faith, deciding it was worth a shot. She had just handed over her salon business to her daughter after spending 22 years building it, so the timing was just right to try something new.
It wasn’t long before she saw the benefits of Isagenix products, understood the unique mission of the company and the lasting impact it was having on people’s lives worldwide. She quickly climbed the ranks, reaching 4-Star Golden Circle, 2 Star Crystal Executive status and was even honored with one of the 2007 Women of Isagenix awards. What she remembers most clearly though was when “the gauntlet was tossed” at 2008 Top Achievers to lead by example and enter the 2008 IsaBody Challenge™.
Almost reluctantly, she did. What most people didn’t know was that while Mary was relatively healthy and a rising star in the company, she suffered from a lifelong health issue that prevented her from exercising, participating in sports and even just a fun night on the town dancing.
Not one to go back on her word and wanting to be a role model for her team members, the feisty Texan vowed that her health issues were not going to hold her back any longer. With great trepidation and apprehension, she found a certified personal trainer and began her journey.
By the end of the Challenge, Mary was thrilled and amazed to say goodbye to 9.5 inches* and hello to a newly tightened and toned body. She went from doing a light 10 minutes on the treadmill to a challenging 40 minutes, plus weight training.
“I feel better than I have in my entire life, and I’m 60,” shares Mary. “It’s exhilarating.”
Today, she shares her story and proudly promotes Isagenix on the back windshield of her car. She wants to inspire her team as a leader and coach.
“I want my team members to experience the health, wealth and freedom I’ve experienced,” she shares. “I want them to climb straight to the top.”
Mary sticks faithfully to the routine that made her a third-place winner in the Women 60+ category of the Challenge, starting each day with an IsaLean® Shake and Ionix® Supreme, cleansing one day each month and getting plenty of exercise.
“It took me a while to come around, but when something changes in your life,you want to share it with the world,” explains Mary. “When a very skeptical person experiences good results, you’ll have a fanatic on your hands, but why not? These products are amazing.”
